Virtual MGOL

Presenting MGOL from home - a librarian outdoors holding a bookWhen COVID-19 began infecting people in the United States, families were urged to stay at home. Many adults began working from home to protect others as well as for their own safety. Although many public libraries closed their doors, children's librarians wanted to continue providing programs and services to their families. Thus, Virtual MGOL was born.

The first programs took place from homes, backyards, parks, and even from a camper! At one point, we had 349 at-home programs available for viewing here.

Once libraries opened for staff, many of the programs moved to the library although they were still presented virtually.
