Listen to what parents, librarians, health professionals and educators have to say about Mother Goose on the Loose!
Mother Goose on the Loose envisions a world where children EVERYWHERE have a strong foundation that will enable them to be successful in school and in life.
Mother Goose on the Loose provides engaging and entertaining educational experiences to infants and toddlers in partnership with their caregivers that cultivate and foster early literacy and learning skills.
Mother Goose on the Loose, as a provider of early learning services and products, fervently values:
- The right of every child to become literate
- Parents and family as a child’s first and most important teachers
- Nursery rhymes and music as tools for learning
- Community as the support system for families
- Joyful experiences with books and illustrations
- Healthy development of the WHOLE CHILD, with focus on social,
emotional, intellectual, and physical skills.
MGOL Hatchlings is a 2-part expansion of the Mother Goose on the Loose program; Ready to Hatch is for expectant parents and In the Nest is for parents of newborns. Hatchlings sessions empower parents by providing informal instruction about child development, giving a repertoire of songs and rhymes to share with babies, and modeling age-appropriate play-based early literacy practices.…
MGOL Goslings is for adult family members with babies in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). The parent education provided supports parental bonding and prepares parents with skills for interpreting their baby’s signals and interacting appropriately with their medically fragile babies while fostering their early language and literacy skills.
