Adaptations
During every Mother Goose on the Loose training, future facilitators are instructed to learn how to plan and present the basic program, but then to make it their own.
They are encouraged to embed their skills and interests into the program they are presenting, so it will be joyful for them. Since enthusiasm breed enthusiasm, the participants will enjoy the sessions even more.
Future facilitators are also reminded to feel free to tailor the program to fit their audience rather than feeling obligated to stick to the basic version of MGOL. This has resulted in many extraordinary off-shoots that reach a much wider audience than the original MGOL audience of parents and caregivers with babies from birth to age two.
Descriptions of many of these programs plus tips for replicating them, are detailed in "Mother Goose on the Loose: Here, There, and Everywhere".
