MGOL From Home

To avoid coming in contact with or spreading COVID-19 germs while continuing to provide MGOL sessions to their weekly participants, facilitators found creative ways to present MGOL from home.

These virtual programs were presented at the beginning of the pandemic, when libraries were closed to the public as well as to the librarians.

The first programs took place from homes, backyards, parks, and even from a camper! Users of this website were able to join some of these at-home versions of MGOL by clicking on the links below; at one point, there were 349 at home programs available for viewing!

By mid 2021, libraries began removing their at home videos from YouTube or restricting access to these recorded programs. In those cases,  the name of the library / library system remains, but all links have been removed and it is labelled "No longer available for viewing."
